After becoming a mom & stepping back from full scale interior design, Katherine started to draw more (once a doodler, always a doodler) & design paper pieces in order to fill her creative bucket.  She quickly fell in love with the process and with a new creative endeavor. She thanks God for answering the prayer for a creative outlet that allows for a more flexible schedule with her kids.  Her paper designs reflect much of the same feel as her interiors -- fresh, light, crisp, classic, & a touch of whimsy.  When pulling together the ideas for Daisie Paper, the phrase "pretty things simple living" became key to her mission. Katherine hopes her paper pieces can bring a pretty feel to the simple things of life - quick thank you letters to friends, don't forget notes for your kids backpack, market lists for healthy ingredients to cook for our families, and gift tags for small & happy gifts for friends.  Because it's in the simple things where real life actually happens and a simple life full of the good things is good for the heart.
